I've been getting I Love Bagels for as long as I can remember. I grew up next to this particular store and we used to get a Bakers Dozen every Sunday and eat them through the week. Though I am sad that they no longer have their Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bagel (it's been a long time-but I still reminisce), nothing can beat these delicious rings of dough when they're fresh and warm. I love being able to drop by in the morning and grab a bagel for under a dollar and drive to work munching on my breakfast. I have only ever been to New York twice and I have no idea what classifies as a "New York" bagel and I don't care. This isn't New York-it's California and these Bagels are delicious!

I may love bagels.....but I hate this place. Tried it once this morning and never again... Anybody who says these are real NY bagels has never left the west coast. The bagels were bland, barely toasted and grossly overpriced. On top of horrible food, the staff was rude. The main person (owner?) at the register wouldn't make eye contact and the other workers played "keepaway" with my order after it was ready. They may have been playing around, but it was at my expense, and I wasn't in the mood to be made a fool.. Skip this place unless you like overpriced crap bagels and rude service.

This place has the best bagels in the area. Really love the cinnamon bagel.

These are fresh, chewy bagels plus they are huge! I don't understand what the low reviews are about, service is great and guys are super friendly. I can say that I have tried the other locations and they are not great - this is for the MV location on Alicia Pkwy and Muirlands. Their bagels are always hot and fresh on Sat mornings.

Yummmm Chocolate Chip Bagel. Soooo tasty and fresh and it melts in your mouth. Food coma.... Seriously....I have to snap out of my food coma to even write about how freakin' amazing this bagel shop is!!! Bagels are delish, prices are amazing, staff is friendly, store is clean...what more can I ask for?! And yes, I'm talking about bagels!!! I used to come to I Love Bagels once or twice a week for a snack as a kid when Saddleback Dance Center used to be open a couple stores down (ya ya, I used to be a dancer...a competitive dancer too...take that!!!). I loved it than....and when I stopped dancing at Saddleback in the late 90's I sorta forgot about this lovely place....until this morning. I needed breakfast, and I was roaming down Alicia before heading to work. Stopped inside and what a blast from the past...a good blast too!!! I Love Bagels....well, I really do love you! I will be coming back for sure!!! Until then, peace.

Good breakfast bagel. Great service. I'll come back because breakfast for lunch here is legen...dairy.

REAL New York Bagels. 'Nuff said. ... No, not enough said. I LOVE "I LOVE BAGELS" and so will you, so get your @$$ down there and get some delicious noms. Breakfast on a toasted sesame bagel + OJ = a little slice of bagel heaven.

I wish I could give them 100 stars. This is my absolute favorite bagel place. I get the onion bagel. They put tons of cream cheese which is my favorite part, so if you don't like a lot of cream cheese you definitely should tell them ahead of time. Everyone who works there is extremely nice. They have mini bagels for kids which my almost 2 year old son LOVES! They even gave him one while we were waiting for free. They have a wide variety of drinks to go along with your bagel as well. I've tried bruegers in aliso viejo (not sure how it's spelled) which is my least favorite, and I've tried the bagel shack in SJC which would be my second favorite. No one can beat I Love Bagels though. One of my favorite foods and favorite places to get it. My only complaint was that I wish they sold day old bagels!

Been several years of coming here and no change. Best bagels in South OC/Mission V. They are slightly bigger than bagels you get at most places but they are awesome. $2.50 for bagel and cream cheese. They also have a ridiculous looking French Toast bagel but I have been too scared to try it on the way to work with the powder sugar.

Bagels just don't seem to be as good anymore. Still the best but not 5 stars just about.

This place is a high school past time for me, I used to come before school and I've been coming here for over ten years! It's DELICIOUS, the bagels are always fresh and they have the best cream cheese I've ever tasted!!!! Try the super cinnamon raisin, it's the best if you like a little sweet in the morning. YUM!!!

Been eating at this establishment for the past 15 years (which is saying a lot because I'm only 23). It will always be my favorite bagel place. I used to come here after church or dance class and get a bagel with peanut butter and a chocolate milk. It still tastes as good today as it did when I was 7. My hands down favorite is the chocolate chip bagel. Also, you can't go wrong with the breakfast sandwiches. The service is fast and the quality is top-notch. Sadly, we moved away recently and now I have to settle for Einsteins.

This has become my favorite bagel place. I love bagels and cream cheese, it's one of my favorite things to eat but I'm picky about bagels. I hate hard bagels or fall apart basically bread bull crap bagels. I love bagels has perfect bagels with wonderful variety of cream cheeses. My favorite is the spinach parm bagel with veggie cream cheese. The employees here are always super friendly without being annoying and fake something I cant tolerate especially in the morning. My bagel always costs 3.05 but I never have change so they always charge me 3 bucks and say next time for the 5 cents...this happened so much that now I make sure to have change cause I feel guilty if I don't and they won't give me 95 cents back, that's just how cool these people are.

  • Chau N.

This place doesn't sell ordinary bagels, it's bagels on steroids! Must try the tuna bagel. I usually get garlic bagels. It is to die for. The portion is huge, so I usually share one with me mommy. She works next door, so I only get to have it when I'm visiting her. The staff is really nice. Every day when there are leftover bagels, they always offer free bagels for my mom and her co-workers.

    (4)
  • Nicole S.

Beyond amazing! I have been coming here since I was a kid and I have still not found a better bagel anywhere!

    (5)
  • Kim G.

These are the best bagels ever. Jalapeno Cheddar bagel with jalapeno cream cheese and an orange juice....mmmm! They put SO much cream cheese on those warm toasty (or un-toasty) bagels.

    (5)
  • Josie L.

Nothing worse than a burnt bagel on a Monday morning! I don't see what everyone is raving about this place. My bagels from here have been mediocre at best. The guy who made my bagel this morning put cream cheese only on one side. If he clearly looked at the bagel before he put cream cheese on it he definitely saw how black my bagel was but was clearly too lazy to make me a new one. Too bad I didn't open it up until I got to the office! Now I'm biting around the burnt parts and throwing pieces away. I've given this place several shots and each time I am disappointed. I will not be coming back!

    (1)
  • Steph P.

The bad first: The bagels didn't have that extra chewy crust/outside that good bagels usually have. They're dense and bread-y, but not terribly bagel-y. The good: Delicious flavored cream cheese (generous portions) Tasty bagel sandwiches Good coffee Fair prices

    (3)
  • Y K.

The cream cheese and lox open faced was awesome. Definitely recommend! You wont regret it. And Alex, you were real helpful with all the choices to pick from. Great service and great food. What's not to like? My wife and I LOVE I Love Bagels! We need more topnotch businesses with high quality products and service like this. Keep it going guys!

I guess that if you start to write a review, and are immediately salivating, that's a good sign, right? I lived in socal for most of my life, and spent MANY mornings at various I Love Bagels stores. They have a great selection of bagels, juices, cream cheeses, and they are always very efficient (even if the line is out the door, you have your stuff quickly). I live out of the area now, and am currently pining for one of their combo bagels. They are just so chewy and moist (but pack a mint, if you're munching one on the way to work... just sayin, lol) My husband always got this monstrosity that had a jalapeno bagel, veggie cream cheese, lox, tomatoes, red onion, and capers! They also have fresh-squeezed OJ (so good) and a nice selection of coffees (in air pots, so you can just go pick your own). Tip: If you are getting a mixed dozen, I always asked them to separate the sweet from the savory. Nobody likes a chocolate/garlic combo bagel!

    (5)
  • Danielle F.

Best bagel place west of the Mississippi. They slather on that cream cheese like it's going out of style. The breakfast sandwiches are heavenly and the fresh squeezed OJ is unbeatable. Recently, they switched from turkey bacon to regular bacon so I now have no complaints. Combo bagel is way more flavorful than most. Get it.

    (4)
  • Mathew B.

I have been coming here for 10 years and it's been consistently great. Spinach-Parmesan bagel with scallion cream cheese or Super Cinnamon bagel with butter are my two favorites!

Before I walked in, I had a different perception of a Bagel. This place offers so many different varieties of bagels and sandwiches made with those so many kinds of bagels. I was impressed. Oh...the food is major delicious. Great for Breakfast and lunch. A certainly must go to place. Can't wait to check out there new place in Aliso Viejo.

    (5)
  • Charlie L.

Ive been coming here for over 15 years....I can always count on one of the freshest bagels you can get, with a smile from the employees....

  • Renee J.

These are real bagels. They are delicious! I used to get the blueberry bagels toasted with butter (Carb-a licious!) Seriously. They had mini bagels that we got for the kiddos. Everyone was always really friendly. It got crowded inside sometimes so seating could be a tiny issue, but there are parks not too far away. It's Southern California anyway so you all enjoy your bagels and soak up the sun.

    (5)
  • Jonathan Z.

Adding an extra star just for their bagel with lox. I tried the chocolate chip with lox and the combo with lox. Both are excellent. Generous amounts of delicious cream cheese, capers, thinly sliced red onions, and flavorful lox (cured salmon for those who don't know what it is). Try it out. Love it or hate it...it's good eats to me.

    (5)
  • Gabi S.

One of my favorite bagel places around. I've tried every bagel they have, give or take a few, and they havent disappointed me at all. Not to mention the service is excellent and friendly.

Get the bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwich! This thing is good...

Dear I *heart* bagels, I just wanted to tell you, that I'm your biggest fan. ....I crave you every time I'm in town I stalk you from the parking lot man ....hoping that you're' still around I walk up to the door filled with glee I see that closed sign.. ARE YOU HIDING FROM ME? If so, that's pretty shitty & makes me depressed I even got your name tattooed across my chest. Sometimes I eat other bagels and it's not the same When I don't get your bagels, it's a crying shame. Anyway, I hope you get this man, hit me back, just for that. Truly yours, Your biggest fan This is Tan...

  • Joana S.

i never really like bagels but if ever i try to get one i always go to this place. they have a great variety of bagels you can choose from. it gets busy sometimes but i think its worth the wait. their bagels are just perfectly cooked i must say... not like the other ones where you feel like your teeth is gonna fall off after a bite. Lol My usual: Garlic Bagel with Egg and American Cheese + fresh orange juice = nothing can go wrong after this meal. :) People are nice and friendly too btw. Its really a great place to start your morning right.

  • Tanya D.

Growing up with I Love Bagels makes it really hard to eat bagels at other locations, especially the huger chains. The same cast has been reprising their roles as really friendly bageliers for years now - one of those perfect yin and yang of quality food with memorable service. Great bagels and cream cheeses - and the sandwiches aren't terrible either. When you're here next, have a side of fresh-squeezed orange juice. When you have I Love Bagels in the morning, you know you're going to have a swell day.

Excellent place to get bagels!! There is a good variety and excellent cream cheese. By far, some of the best bagels in OC. Also the best customer serive you will find at any bagel shop.

Great food and great customer service

Surprisingly good! I can't say Im a huge bagel eater, but that might change now. These bagels were frickkin amazing. go for the lox bagel!

By far my favorite bagel place ever. I have some pretty great memories of this place from when I lived in Mission Viejo. I remember one time after one my first nights of partying in high school, some friends I went here for breakfast. I was sitting in the booth with my usual and wondering why the hell I wasn't hungry and why I didn't feel too great. Then it dawned on me that I was having my first hangover. Every time I go to So Cal, I make sure I stop in for some bagels. Last time I was in Newport Beach and woke up one of the mornings on a mission of getting bagels from I Love Bagels. The actual place itself is nothing special. There are a few plain tables, drink fridge, and counter with the bakery behind. My favorites to get are the everything, banana nut, chocolate chip, or blueberry. I never get them toasted because I hate when the cream cheese (which is fantastic too) melts all over. Noah's Bagels or any other place doesn't even come close to being as great as I Love Bagels. If I could order these by mail, I would do it.

We used to live in Dana Point and had an ILB within a 10 minute walk and used to go there most Saturdays. Since moving to Mission Viejo, we have been to a number of bagel places and have yet to find the equal of I Love Bagels. Even though it's a bit further than 3 or 4 places, it's well worth the drive. The bagels are bigger and more varied than other places, the price is right and when you ask for egg and cheese, you get egg with the yolk still yellow (ie not scrambled) and two pieces of cheese, not one as you get elsewhere. It's the little things in life. They're also not greasy like some places. If you're feeling hungry why not get a choc chip to go for the drive home.

  • Annabelle R.

this is my FAVORITE bagel place! nothing beats it. My favorite is just a simple egg bagel with cream cheese. The bagels are always so fresh and the service is awesome. only bummer is sometimes, like on saturdays, they run out of my favorites if i dont get there early enough. i guess that just attests to their yumminess!

    (5)
  • Robert H.

Great bagels and good food. The service is friendly.

  • jastro S.

Good bagel place, fresh and tasty, large variety. Good cream cheese. Coffee was watery and of dubious quality. Fast service.

    (3)
  • Thy L.

A local favorite if you're into bagels. They have one of the freshest and best bagels you can buy, I esp love their mini bagels.

    (5)
  • John N.

The best bagels in OC by far!

  • Heidi M.

Well, i have to say I'm a bagel snob. Living in New York for 10 years will do that to you. Most of the "bagels" outside of NYC are not bagels... However, bagel snobbery aside, I do like the bagels at I heart bagels! Their selection is good. Their salt bagel is my favorite - not TOO salty like most of the bagels i've seen around town. The selection of light cream cheese is impressive. My favorite is the light scallion. Friendly people behind the counter who remember you make this an added plus to an early morning!

    (4)
  • Debbie P.

Read all the great reviews and drove 20 miles to try what everyone considers the best bagel and was sadly dissappointed. It was edible but sadly even Noah's Bagels is better than this place. The Bagel Shack an exit away has much better bagels and cream cheese.

    (3)
  • April H.

I hate to be cliche but, I really love "I Love Bagels"! The service is always top notch and they know my name and order when I walk in the door. It really doesn't get any better than that! Alex and Ken are always very friendly and willing to help. I have been going there many years and I know I always will. I highly recommend this place!

    (5)
  • Ryan H.

The high reviews here are due to locals and nostalgia. These bagels are small and hard. I've dabbled in bagels my whole life and consider myself a master. The combo/everything bagel is very mediocre. I've eaten at this location 50 to 75 times in my life. There are better bagel places in south county but if you are cruising down Alicia or Muirlands this is a good place to stop and get a bagel. There are no competitors in the immediate area.

    (3)
  • Phil O.

Overall, a very good bagel. However, this is not a NY style bagel. Great selection of bagels and cream cheeses. Also, they have great coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice.

  • mama of three g.

Not bad, but not the best. I like this place, but if you've tried Einstein Bros, this is half way as good. Their cream cheese is SUPER good though. Yum!!!

  • Vlad F.

My review here is strictly about the bagels alone, not sandwiches. Being from NY I am a bit harsh when judging bagels. Is it really that difficult to make an exceptional bagel? Or maybe it would drive up the price too much. Well, these bagels here are a huge improvement over the bagel place Latte Da down the street on Alicia. My first review posted was about that place, and after getting over my disappointment there I read some reviews about this place. So I decided to come back after a few years lapse. I won't get into the long details again, but my bagel rating is based upon taste and texture. The good news is that I Love Bagels has the texture part down very well. The bagels are nice and chewy with a gummy consistency, and have some mass/weight. They are not light and airy, a pitfall of places that try to save cost on ingredients. The bad news however is that the taste to me still is not up to par with what I grew up with in NYC. Taste is a subjective / opinion thing, so to me a bagel should have some sweetness and saltiness to them, without anything added on top. Just the plain bagel dough itself. Then when you add stuff, it is just icing on the cake. I'm not gonna repeat the rant again on that subject since it was a bit long-winded on the other review. I am giving 3 stars for these bagels since they are certainly capturing some of the essence of genuine NY bagels, and I will stop by again to see if maybe I will be pleasantly surprised next time. I will post follow up comments if needed.

reminds me of being young and in love in high school. my boyfriend at the time LOVED bagels. i mean, everyone loves bagels, but he loved them more than the average person. i'm an early riser... he was not. so anytime i wanted to wake him up early and spend the day with him, i'd pick us up some bagels and drive to his house. worked every time. they're always fresh and full of flavor. they have a huge variety of toppings if you want a sandwich or a breakfast bagel. i love i love bagels. but i'll only give a 5-star rating to a bagel place that carries tofutti cream cheese. preferably garlic herb... but i wouldn't complain about plain.

Great service, fresh and tasty bagels. I recommend to anyone who enjoys a good bagel.

I was driving back from San Diego to LA early Saturday morning and I needed to stop for a bite to eat. I was looking for a drive through Starbucks when I saw the sign "I love bagels." I decided to give it a shot. As I entered, I noticed that the shop was very packed and it seemed as if everyone knew the cashier a very sweet, might I add cute cashier. I ordered the veggie bagel but I was so overwhelmed by all the bagel options, I didn't know what to pick! The cashier recommended the spinach parmesan bagel and I said yes :). Best decision. BEST BAGEL. Veggies were crisp, the veggie cream cheese was perfect. My only regret was not buying bagels and cream cheese in bulk from them. Please open a shop near my place!

    (5)
  • Kevin M.

Great flavorful bagels and cream cheese. The service is super quick and they definitely don't skimp out either. Prices are really great also! There isn't a lot of seating indoors but they also offer outdoor seating. Mvhs students bring your I.d.s for discounts!

  • Robin L.

I love this place. They have the best breakfast bagel sandwiches ever. It is like they add magic to them to make them so delicious. Everyone who works there super nice and they are also quick. I personally think that this location is better than the Laguna Niguel location. Any other bagel joint is nothing compared to this place especially for breakfast bagels.

  • Ali S.

This is the OG place for bagels in south county. They were here when I was a kid and are still going. They are close to real NY style. Are they the best I have had? No, not even close. But they are the best bagels in south Orange County. Cranberry, Orange Cranberry are awesome. I tried the French toast bagel, which is new, and its gross. I would not recommend it. It is soft and squishy and really does not have a texture of a bagel. They are near Vista Paint.

    (5)
  • Brittany S.

Delicious bagels, just was not that happy when I paid $8.75 for one bagel with cream cheese and three bagels with nothing on them. Seems a little steep.

    (3)
  • Christine B.

I Love Bagels is a great place to stop in and grab a quick breakfast. They have a decent offering of different flavors and bagels, along with regular, lite and strawberry cream cheese. You can grab a cup of coffee, hot cocoa or a drink out of the refrigerator including milk and juices.

    (3)
  • Kevin H.

Good Bagels but their service has been frustrating for me the last few months. I don't get large orders, usually just two, maybe three bagels at the most. But for some reason they are NOT able to get my order out until after 3 to 5 people that were behind me in line get their orders first Then when I do think they are calling my name, they rudely stop me & tell me it is not my order yet Very frustrating Maybe now they prioritize their more loyal customers. Their customer service use to be much better Whatever I don't think we'll be going back anytime soon.

It's your neighborhood bagel shop! The guys are really nice and give great recommendations. Came here for a quick "brunch". I got the jalapeño bagel with cheese, egg and bacon. It was ok. The bagel seemed to lack a few jalapeños...I only had one slice in my bagel. It's almost as if I made the bagel sandwich at home, instead of it being in a restaurant. It is a fairly small cafe and seems like a cafe that caters more for "to go orders" considering the place is small and a very simple shop. I recommend getting here early because the bagels seem to be fresher earlier in the day. I got here around 11:30am on a Saturday morning and the place was pretty empty. The staff started taking away a few of the bagel baskets...as if it were time for them to close. Very clean place and maybe if I loved closer, I'd frequent this place more...they do get a lot of regulars and they remember them which means great customer service!

    (3)
  • Kevin F.

Simply the best bagels in town and always friendly service! Their bagels are made fresh every morning. My favorites are the garlic and combo flavors. They also have other breakfast choices where you can add eggs or fresh lox. There is another I Love Bagels but not owned by the same person anymore and the quality is not quite the same. This location is the better in my opinion.

  • Haley V.

Been going to this place for years!! Always good, never changes. Reasonably priced, great selection, friendly staff, and delicious food! Always love having breakfast here!

  • Scott P.

Best bagel spot in town, hands down. If this place expanded it would put Brueggers and Einstein's out of business. Everything here is delicious and the guys are really friendly. Do yourself a favor and eat here regularly.

I've been coming to this place for years, and it has always been excellent. The service is fast and friendly Gustavo and Alex always do a great job, and the food is well prepared with generous portions. I love bagels...from this place. :-)

  • Sami S.

Good food bad system. We saw someone taking our to-go bag and told the cook and he said ours was coming. It took forever and after we got in the car and drove away we had gotten the wrong bag. And maybe they shouldn't use short hand on the orders

Absolutely LOVE this place.. Best bagels I've ever had in my entire life. Employees are SO AWESOME and SO friendly!!!!!!!!

    (5)
  • Dana B.

My husband Ordered a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese and said his was great (4 stars). I ordered a breakfast bagel with egg and sausage. Mine was a microwaved conglomeration of a frozen sausage patty, a funky looking egg party and too much cheese on a cheddar jalapeño bagel. Nuking seriously ruins a bagel sandwich! It was weirdly soft, too hot to touch until it cooled off and began turn turn into stone (2 stars). It was inedible to me. Our average is 3. Highly advice NOT ordering a nuked sandwich. Stick with a toasted bagel and you should enjoy it.

  • Lorena C.

I love I Love Bagels! I like they're breakfast sandwich with the egg, turkey ham and melted cheese. I have been ordering that for over 10 years now and it's still my favorite. I love their fresh squeezed OJ as well. The workers there are very nice and were also nice to my son. They have baby bagels so it's great for when we go there. I'm so happy this place is still around.

First time here. My girls favorite place to get bagels now I know why. Very good texture of the bagels...cream cheese is excellent, it's creamy not sour like Philadelphia from the market. Definitely be back soon

Amazing! Parmesan spinach bagel (toasted of course) Jalapeño cream cheese Tomato Avocado Light lemon pepper -the end. Ohhhhhhh

Great service, very friendly and personable! Low fat jalapeño cream cheese was awesome! Would definitely return and recommend!

    (5)
  • Nicole S.

It may not look like much on the outside(or inside), but once you get your food none of it matters. I don't know what it is about their cream cheese but it's amazing. They also have bagel sandwiches which most people don't even really know about. The pricing is cheap and the staff are very nice and friendly. I honestly have never met someone that doesn't like I Love Bagels.

  • Valysia D.

I love I Love Bagels!! I used to go to the Dana Point location when I worked in that area. It has been almost 10 years since I first ate at I Love Bagels in Dana. Now I work in Irvine and most mornings I find myself stopping by the Alicia location on the way to work. I love the staff and the product! Great place. :)

Onion bagel, nom, nom, nom. Had a warm, toasty and delicious onion bagel and schmere. Soooo good. They also have the best cream cheese, whipped and tasty. Never too soft and never too cold.

This place makes me cry it's so wonderful. Even if I'm merely passing through Mission Viejo I still make it a point to get off the freeway and grab a bagel here. But don't let my check-ins fool you; I'm usually too busy munching on the noms to remember to actually check in. Just writing this review has me yearning for pajama bagel runs in the crisp morning air with le boyfriend. "Sweetie your bottoms have a hole in the butt; YOU CAN'T GO OUT LIKE THAT" "YOU ARE NOT GETTING IN BETWEEN ME AND 'I LOVE BAGELS.'" The only downside to this place is that there are so many options; it takes me forever to decide what I want. Egg sammy? Plain-cream-cheese-el-classico? Special and low fat cream cheese? PB&J? No matter what I decide on though, I'm going in for the kill on that hazelnut coffee and macadamia nut coffee. Perfect addition to my bagel. Also I want to mention how wonderful the staff is. They're always polite, accommodating and humorous. I remember once my order was slightly off... PB&J instead of PB&honey...not a big deal I didn't care, but when I was handed my bag of deliciousness, they told me they messed up, and gave me both versions with no extra charge. Cool beans!

Best bagels in town!!! I highly recommend trying their garlic cream cheese. It is amazing! I am not a fish fan, but my husband loves their lox. They definitely don't skimp on the fish and it is always fresh and amazing! The staff is also very friendly!

Pretty good bagels. Better than most spots in LA, and probably better than anything else you could find in Mission Viejo. In the words of Forrest Gump, that's all I have to say about that...

Where to start: the best bagels in Mission Viejo, one of the best in all of California. Bagels done right, that taste fabulous! Boiled then baked, just one of the things they do right. Great cream cheese and a good selection of flavored cream cheese. They put plenty of schmear on your bagel, which they should. I'm always amazed at people who are willing to pay and eat a horrid market bagel, or worse yet, go to other bagel shops (you know who you are), who do not even make bagels the correct and proper way! Also, my daughter loves their homemade chicken salad bagel sandwich. The oj is delicious and I believe fresh. The shop is clean, the service quick and friendly. A tip if you are new, if you want it toasted, make sure you say so.
